Old Sturbridge Village

On Columbus Day, in honor of all things *historical*, we decided to take a road trip to Old Sturbridge Village.  We love it there, and the boys are fascinated by all the artisans, animals, and opportunities to see what life in the 19th century was really like.  The boys were able to see the potter making cups, the tinsmith making a lantern, and a very exciting musket demonstration.  Each time we go, we see something new, which is ironic since the village is made up of artifacts and buildings from over 200 years ago -- go figure!  So, here are a few photos from the day, edited with all my modern gizmos to look antique-y and more interesting.  I was feeling a little artsy-fartsy today, so indulge my vintage coloring and enhancements.  (Kudos to Canon camera and my iMac for making this blog post possible).
