On a random Tuesday night, my hubby said to me, "wouldn't it be fun to go to New York to watch UNC play in the NIT basketball tournament?" I thought to myself, yes, it would be fun, but can we pull it off to go to a big sporting event in the City in just two days???? Well, we did it, and here are the pictures to prove it!
On Thursday, March 31, we attended the NIT Championship game at Madison Square Gardens. UNC lost to the Dayton Flyers, but the game was fun and the arena was awesome! We all chowed down on pizza and sodas (and a PowerAde for H). We cheered, we danced, we acted silly, and we had a terrific time. It's amazing what you can do with a computer, ebay, Starwood points, and the trusty old MasterCard!
